How to go to isro guest house in adyar from egmore railway station?

can any 1 tell how to go to isro guest house in adyar (kamraj avenue) from egmore railway station.plz be clear as i'm new to chennai.can u plz tell the bus no's i have to board %26amp; where to get down %26amp; the directions.





Also let me know any hotels nearer to guest house that are affordable (going to stay 2 days)...

From Egmore RS, take any of the following buses: Please make sure the bus stand you are waiting is the right stand for Adyar buses. Some buses go through Mount Road, Teynampet, Saidapet and Adyar route, some go Mount Road, (Triplicane or Mylapore), Foreshore estate and Adyar route. During peak hours it might take 1 hour, otherwise 40-45 minutes would be your journey time.





There is a train route too! But it will be very confusing for new comers. So stick with the bus service.

Adyar BSNL office is nearby landmark, if you miss that alight at Adyar Bus Depot (don't mention bus stand that is in different location). You may have to walk about 20 minutes to ISRO guest house.

ISRO Guest House, on Kamaraj Avenue 2nd Street, is very near Adyar Bus Depot stage (around 500 meters) and opposite to Adyar BSNL Office (around 150 meters).





In the map view showing the routes in MetroCommute website, you may zoom into the location (use the scroll key in your mouse or double click on the map near the ';Adayar Depot'; stage) to view the BSNL office location and Kamaraj Avenue 2nd Street very clearly.





With regard to hotels, I am not very sure of affordable (and good quality) hotels near that location. You may try serviced-apartments, in the near by Thiruvanmiyur/Perungudi location which will be a bit more economical than Adyar. The following page shows serviced apartments in Chennai. Try changing the locality to find one in/near Adyar.

take ( 23C ayanavaram to besant nagar or 23C deluxe bus ayanavaram to thiruvanmiyur ) bus from egmore railway station...get down in adyar telephone exchange or adyar bus depot...from u can ask and go...
