I have a wireless router that has a very weak signal in the guest house.?

What additional device can I place in between where the wireless currently is and my guest house to get a better signal?I have a wireless router that has a very weak signal in the guest house.?
It depends on what kind of router you have. If you have Linksys you can buy bigger antennae that get better range. Router makers also make boosters that can be plugged into the wall to extend your coverage. You can also buy an external WIFI antenna for your laptop off the internet. These are easily hacked and can be upgraded to get ranges of thousands of yards.I have a wireless router that has a very weak signal in the guest house.?
They use to sell booster devices that should help, but your best bet is most likely to upgrade your router with one that's got better range.
There are range extenders, but they rarely work, and a quirky when they do.

Several options:

1. Move the router so it's closer to the guest house.

2. Run some cat 5 cable to the guest house and put in another router there

3. Replace your current router with a Wireless-N model, which giver better coverage.
