Honey this is not a good idea as I come from goa me self and I have seen many get robbed from buying properties out there.

south of goa is the place to buy don't go north it's too crouded.

becareful a new law came in that foreigners cannot buy property there any more. They have to do it through an indian citizen, which has ended up in tears on many occasions when the indian took all the money or the property cus by law it is thiers! Think carefully before you jump in. My English friends thought they would buy a retirement home in Goa - six months in England, and six in Goa. Sounded great at the time and so also the so called great offer from the builders. They were conned of all the money they invested.
Just forget it or suffer great consequences!
probably check in Indian gumtree version http://www.kijiji.in/ if u want to find it online, at least you might get some directions where to search
