I'm looking at moving into a guest house that only has electricity and water set up right now. (No cable or internet.) The main house next to it only has traditional internet that uses a phoneline. How do I set up digital or wireless internet (and maybe cable) when there is none in the main house?
Thanks! How do I set up internet/cable in a guest house?
Boy!!! Get DSL access back there. att preferably and make sure you get a wireless router as further down the line this might make you score points with the front house. Dial up are you kidding me. What I mean is with simple instructions you can get them up in speed. 10 point shall disclose more.lHow do I set up internet/cable in a guest house?
Depends on the location you have several choices: cable modem with comcast or timewarner, broadband dsl with Earthlink, Road Runner, Verizon DSL, SBC Yahoo DSL, Qwest DSL or you can even do satellite internet with hughesnet . www.hughesnet.com/
Just call your local phone company to find out if the offer highspeed internet access and negotiate bundle price for phone, internet and tv. Then call your cable company and do the same to see who offers better plan. Shop around.
Good luck!
