What size guest house can you put on your property?

without needing a building permit or notifying the city? The guest house will be in Los Angeles city limits. What size guest house can you put on your property?
You will have to get a permit. You need a permit for a deck, patio, shed, anything built on your property.

get the permit, the fine will be much more $$What size guest house can you put on your property?
ANY living space, (especially in L.A.), would need to be

approved by the Building Department.
You can't without permits and following the codes.
You cant. Where I live a storage shed 10x12 requires permits, inspections and tax's. Thats why people build 9.5x11.5 storage sheds.
