Whne I turn on my electrial supplies the fuse box lows and I have to switch it back on all the time.I live in a guest house and the electrical system is not good...what do I do to stabalize it?
Stop turning it back on. It is telling you that there is a serious problem.
Tell your landlord or host to call an electrician.
If it is not repaired you could burn the house down.I live in a guest house and the electrical system is not good...what do I do to stabalize it?
IF IT IS CURCUIT BREAKERS THAT KEEP TRIPPING YOU NEED TO LOOK ON THE CURCUIT BREAKER AND SEE HOW MANY AMPS IT SAYS I.E. 15 OR 20 THEN YOU NEED TO SEE HOW
MANY AMPS YOU ARE PULLING WHEN YOU PLUG IN YOUR APPLIANCES. ADD UP THE NUMBER OF WATTS, THEN TAKE 120 VOLTS DIVIDE IT INTO THE NUMBER OF WATTS AND YOU WILL GET THE NUMBER OF AMPS THAT WILL EITHER MEET OR EXCEED WHAT YOU ARE DOING I.E. - 120 DIVIDE INTO 1500 WATTS = 12.5AMPS IF WHEN YOU DO THIS YOU COME OUT WITH MORE AMPS BEING USED THAN WHAT IS ON THE BREAKER I.E. BREAKER OR FUSE READS 15 AMPS AND YOU ARE TRYING TO USE 20 AMPS THEN YOU ARE OVERLOADIND THE BREAKER. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE NOT USING UP TO THE AMOUNT ON THE BREAKER AND IT IS KICKING YOU NEED TO CONTACT SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ELECTRICITY TO FIX IT ..IF YOU DON'T KNOW AND YOU TRY TO WORK ON IT DEATH MAY OCCUR TO YOU FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. THE ABOVE THINGS WILL HELP YOU TO MAYBE FIND THE TROUBLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX
